Next Weekend – Tile Festival at the Moravian Tile Works

Next up – one of my favorite shows. The 21st Annual Tile Festival at the Moravian Tile Works, Doylestown, PA, is scheduled for next weekend, May 18 (10 AM – 5 PM) and May 19 (10 AM – 4 PM).

This show features tiles of all kinds, and only tiles. And you don’t have to worry about the weather – it’s held under large tents that keep you safe from any weather worries with plenty of time to browse.

Here are some photos from past shows:

Newtown Welcome Day, Sunday, May 5 – Weather update

Heads up – I was planning to be here with my clay work this coming Sunday: the Newtown Welcome Day in Newtown, PA. But…an all day rain is predicted. As of now, I’m not planning to set up. After 25 years of show life, I’ve done my quota of shows in the rain and I just don’t want to anymore! Simple as that.

I’m sorry to cancel and I’ll mention that my next show is coming up in 2 weeks – the Tile Festival in Doylestown, PA. More details soon.

Thanks!

Baum School of Art Holiday Pop-Up Shop 2018

Once again I’ll be participating in this annual event at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA.

This year I’ve changed things a bit – I’ve taken clay work, as I usually do, but for this season I’ve got cylinder people, animals as well as tiles, on display as part of the sale.

The Baum School of Art is a community non-profit visual arts school located in downtown Allentown. It’s been serving art students for 90 years and is going strong. Located at 510 Linden Street, Allentown, PA, it is across the street from the Allentown Art Museum. You could visit both places, shop, and take in the artistic visions of many artists.

Here is a link with the info on the show. Note that there are two receptions, if you would like to shop in a party atmosphere!

OPENING RECEPTION:
Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1–3pm
WINE AND CHEESE RECEPTION:
Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6–8pm
